{STRATEGIC
DEVELOPMENT}
As a trained architect, my expertise lies in managing design processes. With experience, I learnt the practice of product development in crafts. My background allows me to oversee design projects with a keen eye for detail and a focus on high-quality outputs. Through my experience in cultural and creative industries, I have developed a strong insight into institutions and can bring a new and fresh perspective to their work. My goal is to help these institutions thrive and better serve their communities through strategic guidance and informed decision-making.
Training & Mentorship
I run training programs in products developed based on local practices and crafts. I organize regular informal mentorship with young designers to expand their creative work and product portfolio, in addition to working with institutions that require training expertise. In 2021, I consulted for the German development agency (GIZ) for a project in Gaza, Palestine on a one year program to build product design capacity. I trained and mentored young designers on product development working across three industry sectors; wood, stone and marble, and pre-fabricated aluminum. The results were the prototyping of pieces in collaboration with production facilities in Gaza.
Institutional Support
I joined Seven Hills in 2022, a non-profit based in Amman dedicated to providing skateboarding and creative opportunities for underserved youth. I supported the restructuring of the organization while also developing a series of creative workshops at Alraseef 153, its makerspace, for young artists and designers. Furthermore, I led fundraising conversations with local and international entities such as Drosos Foundation, Moleskine Foundation, as well as local companies in Jordan for private funding.
Evaluations
I also support art and cultural institutions with evaluations. I recently conducted an evaluation for the DOEN Foundation to bring a qualitative insight into a program they have been organizing among and between partners for over a decade. The evaluation looked at impact, meaning, and value that partners attribute to the program in addition to ways to remodel it to better support the needs of its current and future partners.
